NHV to Provide Offshore Transport for North Sea Oil-Drilling Project

NHV Group, the Ostend, Belgium-based helicopter service provider, will ferry personnel to and from  an upcoming oil drilling project by Nautical Petroleum in the Ekland Field in the North Sea.

Operations are scheduled begin within weeks, with flights departing from NHV's base in Aberdeen, Scotland, to the offshore field with Airbus Helicopters H175s. The company began operations in Aberdeen in early 2016.

NHV was a launch customer for the H175 in December 2014 and plans to increase its fleet of the aircraft type to 16, according to a company statement

This is NHV's first contract with Nautical Petroleum. It already has contracts with other companies for similar services in the region.
