CAAC cracks down on protesting Cathay Pacific employees

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has ordered Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways to report to mainland authorities the identities of all crew members participating in or supporting Hong Kong anti-government protests. The CAAC directed Cathay to comply with the order by Aug. 11; if the agency does not approve the crew members to work on flights to or from mainland China, their flights will not be permitted.
