Airbus Schedules First A350 XWB Flight for Friday
Airbus has scheduled the first flight of its A350 XWB aircraft for this Friday from Toulouse-Blagnac airport.
Flight test teams are currently performing their last pre-flight tests, following the first power up of the aircraft's Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines last week.
The A350 XWB family will have three variants, with seating between 270 and 350 passengers. Entry into service is scheduled for the second half of 2014 with launch customer Qatar Airways.
