- Jebi is the 13th tropical cyclone to affect a part of Japan since mid-June.
Jebi is currently equivalent in strength to a Category 1 hurricane but will weaken as it moves across Honshu. Last Friday, Jebi reached its maximum intensity when it had estimated winds of 175 mph.
