An Embraer EMB-110P1 Bandeirante, registration PT-SOG, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident at Barcelos Airport (BAZ/SWBC), Amazonas.
The two pilots and twelve passengers perished in the accident. All the passengers were Brazilian.
The aircraft was landing at Barcelos Airport in heavy rain and bad weather conditions when it aborted the landing and attempted a go-around, but crashed into the ground at the end of the runway.
