USA har brukt mange år på å utvikle hypersoniske missiler, men har nå angivelig omsider lykkes. Nå har de også utviklet og utstasjonert, anti hyper-våpen. Fact or fiction? Ikke vet jeg, men jeg stoler ikke på det, Vel, her er en test akkurat utført:

Shyu: DOD developed, deployed classified counter-hypersonic capabilities

SIMI VALLEY, CA -- The U.S. military rapidly developed and deployed still-classified means to defeat hypersonic missiles, the fruit of a focused effort the Pentagon's top technology official spearheaded to find ways to defeat a new class of ultra-fast maneuvering weapons deemed a "huge success." Heydi Shyu, under secretary of defense for research and engineering, cited this previously unreported development as a chief achievement during her tenure, outlining in the broadest terms a capability that deals with one of the highest safety risks today.
