Saab, Swedish FMV sign deal for LUUV
Saab will serve as the main contractor for the
LUUV project, which will be led by FMV.

Saab has been awarded a contract by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration
(FMV) to develop a large autonomous underwater vehicle.
Known as Large Uncrewed Undersea Vehicle (LUUV), the vehicle will be a
sensor platform equipped with various capabilities.
According to Saab, the LUUV will conduct its maiden sea trials in the summer of 2026.
