Oklahoma-based FireFlight Fights Fires with UAS
Fireflight, an Oklahoma-based unmanned aircraft systems company whose aircraft have been used by government agencies and The American Red Cross, offers standard integrated unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) packages that are optimized for three basic missions: “stand and stare”; rapid response; complete overhead picture.
All the UAS are hand launch/land, have electric motors, and are controlled by advanced technology.
Each platform can be configured with a range of sensors to suit the mission – high-definition (HD) streaming video; infra-red (IR or FLIR); high resolution digital still; chemical; biological – and the sensors can be in fixed positions or in gimballed mounts.
James Stuckey, CEO of Fireflight notes“When fire departments realize these devices will save lives, they won’t be able to do without them.”
