RNLAF F-16s Go Dutch Patrolling Baltic Airspace
Five Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) F-16s will begin to patrol Baltic airspace from Malbork air base in Poland on Sept. 5. They join the multinational fighter force already doing so from Estonia and Lithuania.

The five F-16s, one of which is in reserve, will conduct the NATO Baltic air policing mission until the end of the year.
They will also exercise with the Polish air force and allied airborne warning and control systems (AWACS). An RNLAF KDC-10 tanker transport is providing aerial refuelling support to the AWACS.
