(Red.)

Russia Weighs Resuming Nuclear Tests Amid U.S. Escalation
Sergei Ryabkov, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, has revealed that Moscow is now grappling with the prospect of resuming nuclear tests in light of Washington’s continued escalation. In an interview with TASS, Ryabkov acknowledged the gravity of the issue:
“This question is being asked. And without prejudging anything, I will simply say that the situation is quite complicated. It is constantly being considered in all its components and in all its aspects.”
The very fact that Russia is openly considering resuming nuclear tests signals the depth of the crisis brought about by U.S. escalation. This isn’t merely saber-rattling—it’s a warning that Washington’s reckless policies are driving the world to the edge of a precipice. The old doctrine of mutual restraint, which served as the cornerstone of Cold War stability, has been obliterated by the hubris of a U.S. elite desperate to cling to unipolarity.
Unlike the West’s hollow rhetoric, Moscow’s signals are always deliberate, calculated, and steeped in reality. If the U.S. continues down this path of provocation....arming Ukraine with long-range missiles, ignoring Russia’s red lines, and openly entertaining fantasies of nuclear superiority.... Moscow may remind the world why it has the most advanced nuclear arsenal on the planet.
The resumption of tests would shatter any remaining illusions about the West’s dominance and expose the fragility of its so-called “deterrence.” The message is clear: push Russia too far, and the cost of escalation will be catastrophic. The question isn’t whether Russia will act, it’s whether Washington will recognize the abyss it’s teetering over before it’s too late.
