The MQ-4C completed its longest flight of 19.4 hr on Nov. 16 and will press on to a full 24 hr. during envelope expansion testing.

The U.S. Navy’s long-running quest for an unmanned maritime patrol aircraft is entering its final stages with the recent completion of the Northrop Grumman MQ-4C Triton’s longest-ever envelope expansion flight, and the handover of the first two operational aircraft to Unmanned Patrol Squadron-19 (VUP-19) expected next year.
