Howling P-51 Mustang – Low Flyby
P-51D Mustang Serial No. 44-13521 was built at North American Aviation’s Inglewood plant in California in 1944.
The aircraft was shipped to England on the 6th June 1944, and was then taken in charge on the 30th June 1944. It was assigned to the 504th Fighter Squadron, which was part of the 339th Fighter Group, based at Fowlmer in, Cambridgeshire.

The name ‘Marinell’ was given to the aircraft by her assigned pilot, Captain Bradford V. Stevens.
