With FAA certification of the 525 Relentless super-medium fly-by-wire helicopter now anticipated by year-end, Bell has begun assembly of the initial production units at its Amarillo, Texas, facility as flight tests continue to accelerate. Bolstered by the introduction of the fourth flying aircraft early this year, the test program has increased rotor turn time to just under 1,300 hr. and flight time to over 900 hr.
