Late on Jan. 18 U.S. warplanes targeted anti-ship missiles that “were aimed into the southern Red Sea and prepared to launch,” according to U.S. Central Command. But in an exchange with reporters in Washington D.C., the U.S. president was frank about the efficacy of the U.S. airstrikes. “When you say working, are they stopping the Houthis? No. Are they going to continue? Yes.”
