Airbus Offers A350-1000 in Qantas‘ Project Sunrise Competition The airplane will be available in the timeframe required by Qantas at the end of 2022

Airbus confirmed it is offering a version of the A350-1000 in the Qantas ultra-long-haul competition around “Project Sunrise” that would enable the airline to open nonstop flights from Australia’s East Coast to London and New York, among other locations. Qantas plans to make a decision about an aircraft order for the project by the end of 2019, subject to reaching an agreement with its pilots.
