Kongsberg Tests Maritime Missile Against Land Targets
As part of its program for Poland, Kongsberg has validated the use of the Naval Strike Missile (NSM) against land targets. The weapon was initially conceived as a stealthy anti-ship missile, which is its role for the Norwegian military. But Poland, the first export customer, wants a land-attack capability, which was validated during a test firing at the U.S. Navy’s Pt. Mugu weapons range in California.
